Megan D. Patton is a founding Partner of Antus & Patton LLP of Midland, Texas.
An experienced oil and gas attorney, Megan’s practice consists mainly of oil and gas transactional and title work, and assisting clients with due diligence and asset purchases and divestitures.
She regularly prepares original, supplemental and division order title opinions, and routinely assists her clients with the construction and interpretation of leasehold assignments, joint operating agreements, and communitization agreements. Megan has also managed a number of due diligence projects for leasehold acquisitions, which have required her to oversee a large team of attorneys.
Originally from Arkansas, Megan lives in Midland, Texas, where she is an active member of the community. She has served on the Executive Board for the Young Professionals in Energy – Midland for the past six years. Megan has also served on the committee for the Midland Chapter of American Cancer Society’s annual fundraiser, Round Up: A Cattle Baron’s Ball, and on the board of Women’s Energy Network. Additionally, Megas has been a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation since 2018.
