Christopher Antus is a founding Partner of Antus & Patton LLP of Midland, Texas.
An experienced oil and gas attorney, Christopher’s practice includes representation of oil and gas producers, from small and mid-sized independents to Fortune 500 companies. With an emphasis on oil and gas title and operational issues, Christopher takes an active role in his clients’ pre- and post-production endeavors.
Christopher has extensive experience in oil and gas title issues, as his practice primarily consists of analyzing, interpreting, and drafting all types of instruments affecting surface, mineral and leasehold estates. He has rendered hundreds of original, supplemental, division order, leasehold, and acquisition title opinions. Christopher has also performed due diligence on various acquisitions both large and small, and regularly counsels his clients on the risks – and possible solutions to those risks – associated with their proposed acquisitions.
Christopher servers on both the Board of Directors and the Executive Board of Midland Teen Court, and recently served on the committee for the Midland Chapter of American Cancer Society’s annual fundraiser – Round Up: A Cattle Baron’s Ball for the last six years. In his free time, Christopher enjoys staying active, including running and playing soccer.
